Covid Hero of IRPS
Mr. Raghavendra, IRPS received appreciation letter from DRDO for role played by his organisation in development of prototype for critical flow control valve used in medical ventilators. This component was earlier being imported from Japan and Germany. However due to COVID-19 the supplies dried up. His organisation developed the prototype in a record 15 days. The item is now under serial production.

DRM Guntur in Action
Guntur Division of SCR has just DOUBLED its previous year’s “Total Freight Revenue” on 12.03.2021. Besides, the Division has achieved an incremental growth of 93% over last year in terms of tonnage.

600 boys from Scouts and 350 girls from Guides of Danapur division have launched a massive campaign in railway colonies to provide medical assistance to Covid-19 infected family members of railway employees during their home isolations in Patna and its adjoining areas.

Covid Warriors in action in New Delhi
Vivek Prakash, IRPS, Dy.Commissioner, Rohini, North DMC is engaged in monitoring and strengthening the covid control centre of MCD on daily basis by registering each complaint related to Sanitation in covid contentment zones, Covid waste collection, Vaccination, Covid testing, available covid hospitals and nodal officers, contact of authorised drug suppliers and nodal officers of delhi government etc. Babu Abdul Khadeer, IRPS is the Nodal Officer of Balakram Hospital, Timarpur which is a 100 bed Covid Care Centre with Oxygen concentrators and doing great service for the people admitting the Covid patients in these difficult times.

Launch of Covid Care Centre with Innovative collaboration
DRM Guntur brought about an Innovative collaboration of the District Administration and Railways to set up Covid Care Centre in Guntur. Infrastructure facilities and operating costs borne by Railways. Doctors, Paramedical staff, Oxygen, Medicines, PPE kits, food for the patients & staff, waste segregation & disposal, one ambulance (round the clock) and security will be provided by the District Admin. It helps both the Railway Medical beneficiaries and the general public on 40:60 ratio of bed allocation. IRPS commends DRM Guntur for the innovative and timely initiative.

Launch of Covid Care Centre with Innovative collaboration
70 bedded RAIL MAHAL COVID CARE CENTRE, GUNTUR was inaugurated by District Collector & DRM Guntur in the presence of MLA. This innovative initiative was an outcome of an MOU signed between the DRM and the District Collector. This comes as a big relief to the Railway Medical Beneficiaries of Guntur Division which lacks Divisional Hospital and has only a small 10 bedded hospital. The facility is also open to general public with 60% quota. This Centre will function as step down facility for Government General Hospital, Guntur.
